Throttlebody problem

Throttlebody problem

I just had my throttle body borded out a few mm's now the car idles between 1700-2100 rpm's any suggestions?
vehicle- 2000 civicsi vtec with idle control valve on throttle body

it is probably the butterfly valve leaking. who did it for you? take it off the im and hold it up to a light, you shouldn't be able to see any light come through around the plate. if you do, take it back and have them fit a new butterfly for you.

ya whats up with the double post. What i posted in your other thread is basically what aaron said in this one. If they didn't make a new throttle plate (butterfly) you will never get your idle down.
