Which throttle body gasket to use?
 

I have a 68mm (I believe 68mm taper down to 66mm) throttle body but have no gasket. For anyone that uses aftermarket oversize TB, what gasket do you use?

Or am I thinking too much and could just get an OEM gasket and cut it bigger? And what happen if you don't use a gasket, you get air leak and rough idle?

just buy some gasket paper and cut your own. i don't think i'd try running it without a gasket of some sort... it will almost certainly leak.

you dont even need a gasket, make your own with a gasket sealer the same **** you use on valve covers ect...i did, had no issues/leaks

cutting a gaslet out of gasket paper would be a b1tch b/c you would have to make passages for the idle control screw, MAP and iacv and possible FITV (if it has one).
I usually just get an OEM gasket and cut it out larger.

c'mon, it isn't that hard... anyone who isn't lazy with some scissor skill can do it. probably cheaper than buying a stock one.

the stock one isn't very expensive at all.....i tried to make a gasket myself when i installed my 64mm t/b and it was very tedious and didn't turn out very good, so i just bought an OEM one and bored it out a little, trust me that was a lot easier.

And Honda gaskets are all the same right? Provided some might have bigger bore than others, but overall, all the bolt location, sensor location and whatnot are identical, yes?
