Throttle Body
I just got back from Honda and they said I need a new throttle body for my 96 4door civic.
I replaced the throttle body 5 years ago, is it normal for it to last only 5 years?
I have been told to buy a used one for cheeper, is this a good idea? or should I go new?
Any tips or advice would be great? I dont know much about the part
Thanks

if they are replacing the T/B sounds to me like its the TPS sensor which is 1 peice on USDM models, this isnt a problem, you have to notch a line into the back with a hacksaw of the center of the rivets and unscrew the TPS with a phillips screwdriver, you can source a new one from any JDM importer, or wrecker.
