Those with D16y8 engines or D16y7

I need a picture of the hoses that go around the throttle body and to the intake pipe. I need to do mine again because some are not connected right so I need to take a look at what they look like stock.

thanks.

Close up pic would be great.

Matt, need to get a digi cam from my buddy, then I'll set you up. Hopefully I see him tonight, but if not then by the weekend, cuz we work opposite sched. It's highly likely this is the cause of your idle problem too, no?

Thanks bruno.

I hope so, since my PCV tube is dangling, and dont know here my other hoses are supposed to hook to.

thanks.

Thanks

Just wondering if you could take bigger and closer pics. The ones you posted are good but I need to see more into the area around the intake manifold and intake area to see where my hoses go thanks.

Matt, generall speaking, the hoses are shaped a certain way, and if you just leave them they will fall into the general area of where they fit... and from there, the size/diameter will determine where they go. I speak from experience, since there's been numerous times where I've held off a project too long after starting, and I sit there scratching my head... but I'll see what I can do about some close ups.

The sun is going down, so the lighting sucks...not to mention my photo skills, but I hope these are a little better. There is only a few hoses/wires etc that go into the TB, so it shouldn't be that hard. The u-shaped metal tube in the first picture that isn't attached to anything is for the TB coolent hose (just below the tube). I just used a shorter hose when I had my intake on, and I just never bothered to put it back together properly.

alright thanks guys, gonna go check mine tomoro.

The reason being, right now everythign is hooked up but I have no where to connect my PCV tube from the valve cover to the intake tube so its just dangling now.

So i have one too many hoses and nowhere to put.

thanks.

The tube attaches to the valve cover at one end, and into a hole in the intake tube beside the sensor at the other end. Maybe you are using the wrong intake tube, or wrong valve cover if there is no holes.
