think i blew my motor

i was driving home on the 404 and my car suddenly bogged for a second then stalled.i couldnt get it restarted and had to get it towed to my place...i think the motor is blow cuz i can get it to start but it runs so damn rough and when u touch the gas pedal it stalls right away..i can hear the pump prime and the plugs have gas on them. spark plugs, wires, dist. cap were all changed about 6months ago.

also i have been hearing a heatsheild noise for a while but never took it too seriously but recently was told all my sheilds are tight. My motors also been burning alot of oil and leaking....i go through about 1.5-2 litres a week.

this is exactly why when you hear a noise you should get it checked out and not just say "oh its just a heatshield rattling".

If you're engine is burning that much oil, i'd say its time for a new one anyways.

do a compression test and see what the PSI is on each cylinder...probably like 20 if that

I'd take off the pan and see if there are any metal peices in your oil

it does sound as though your engine is done. to make sure, compression test it.

1.5 litres....i also put on like 800-900 km a week..
i just checked the rotor and its spinning, plus i can smell gas.

im just gonna get it towed to midas and get them to check it.

its weird cuz theres no check engine light, only the oil light but i just put 2 litres in today.
