thermal research & developement exhaust

ive been offered a open box Thermal exhaust axle back at a good price (civic axle back for $150 cash)

does this exhaust sound good? anybody have any experience with it?

i heard thermal exhaust is one of the good ones...like apex and them...
it sure is better than the bomz mufflers everyone has...

if its just the axle back then dont expect much, its just gonna get louder, as for quality thermal is a good brand to use.

i know.. im not asking about performance, there is no performance in an axle back.

just wondering how they sound/quality

it matches with the stock
and i believe the stock piping is 2"
its not the turbo muffler

civic's stock piping is 2inch??

for corollas its like 1 3/4
i think civic is the same

the 92-95 civics have TINY stock exaust pipes

Thermal R&D has some pretty decent exhausts. I know a few ppl with them and they have nothing but praise for it. As for sound, I found that they were comparable to the Greddy Evo and Apexi WS.

i know for sure the dx/cx is ~1 3/4

because when i replaced my exhaust system on my civic
the guy replaced it with a "stock" 2" intermediate pipe..
maybe it isnt stock, but mine is 2", and he checked on a computer, something similar to mitchell on-demand
