You could have your car removed from the road/heavily fined for not having the proper emission equipment.

I ment will i run into any engine (dtc) codes, maybe from the O2 sensor,
i am aware of it not being street legal, but thanks for the heads up DumbasSi

if u have an o2 sensor after ur cat then yes u will need to get the replacement o2 bypass or get an obd reader and clear the code

Im running the omni test pipe..was it worth it..maybe? it sure makes it louder but thats about it,ill most likely throw my cat back on for the e test.

a 1992 only checks a single O2 sensor, so no, you shouldn't get any codes. however, you guys running test pipes are breaking the law, so don't come crying and complaining when you get busted. you willingly break the law, you should expect to get your plates pulled and your car towed, in addition to heavy fines.

cuz you're too ****ing stupid to own a race car. people who build racecars wouldn't ask a stupid question about engine management.

hope you get busted. :upyours:

how much hp do you gain by doing this? 1 or 2? unless your cat is clogged, i dont really see a point.. unless you like really fing loud exhaust. good luck, and dont get caught.

Alright!
thanks for the informations guys! this forum is real helpful
:shakehand

your an idiot.. dont excpect to get help when asking about putting an illegal item on your car. this forum doesnt condone this kinda stuff.

b18bHatch 14-Mar-2007 06:59 PM

odds are you wont get in trouble for having a test pipe..ive heard MTO once a year does this check where they pull you over randomly and check but its rare. the only thing itll **** you up on is an e test because 80% of ur emissions from off the cat.

imported_janz3n 14-Mar-2007 08:20 PM

cops can smell it .

Oldspower 14-Mar-2007 08:30 PM

a guy i know put a test pipe on because his cat was clogged, not much louder with stock muffler and resonator, and its a bit quicker. Exhaust smell isn't that evident, perhaps a little bit more of a smell.
