Emission Question!!!
Hey. Just a question if anyone on TCC can help me out. I have a 93 civic si with a b20vtec swap that consists of a first gen b16 with a b20b block all stock. My car doesn't have a car nor o2. I'm gonna be putting in a new Cat either high flow or reg and o2 and run a b16 ecu, would that be able to pass me for my emissions???
Also does the civic si come with an egr. thanks let me know

no EGR as far as I know, as for if you'll pass emissions, a car that runs well should pass emissions yes, but it really depends on how well tuned your car is.... it might take a few tries to get it tuned properly.

(2) A hot rod that receives a motor replacement on or after January 1, 1999, shall receive a motor designed to meet emission standards at least as stringent as those achieved by the original motor with all its original emission control equipment attached and functioning, and the replacement motor shall have the original catalytic converter and all the original emission control equipment, or equivalent replacements, included or usually included with the replacement motor by the manufacturer of the motor. O. Reg. 361/98, s. 4 (2); O. Reg. 86/99, s. 3.
