Tein springs?

Tein springs?
The guy at the shop swears that they are better springs than the H&R and will match Koni yellow shocks well.
He says they are a japanese brand vs. the H&R which isn't.
The price was $259 for a set of 4. Is that reasonable?
The Koni yellow he was selling are $900, is that a little overpriced?

lol Relax guys, that's not meant as an insult in any way.
My point was that he might have been narrow-minded enough that he wouldn't promote any products that are domestic or european.
Sorry you took that the wrong way! I should have elaborated further.

sorry man i gotta say H&R sport springs will handle much better than tein s-tech springs (i have had both). the tein is a softer ride, while the h&r sport is a bit stiffer. on the same car, the h&r outhandles the s-tech springs. the reason behind this, is the spring rate is much higher on the h&r and the s-tech springs were just meant to keep a stock level of comfortability with a bit of sporty feel.

and if you are going to use koni yellow's you might as well use h&r race, as the koni yellows can take hardcore abuse, and have a lifetime rebuild warranty but you will need a camber kit for sure, and your ride will be much stiffer. would recommend it if u see a lot of track time. if not so, h&r sport should be good.

Great info.
The car will be mostly for street use, I hear a lot of advice to go with the H&R sport. john lo is the first guy who apparently owned both Tein and H&R so your opinion matters more than those who just pull advice out of their rear end.
I'll stick with the H&R sports then. Thanks!
Now... to find a good source
