tein s tech vs eibbach sportline vs canuck motorsport
 

I just got 17" rims and i have a huge gap was wondering what springs are better out of the 3. eiback sportline that is a drop of abt 1.5, canuck motorsport a drop of 1.9 or tein a drop of 1.5 and do i have to replace my shocks? i also have to drive this car in the winter so let me know the safest and reasnable springs. thanks.

you will have to replace your shocks. if you are driving it in the winter, i wouldn't go lower than 1.5"...

FYI...eibach sportline are like a 2" or 2.5" drop, they are the lower ones... the other ones, eiback pro-kit are the 1.5" mild drop...

you should get the eibach pro-kit setup with comes with the shocks and springs... the damper is tuned to the spring rate... better hadling and yeah, it won't look as gay with a big wheel gap.

fine, 1"... doesn't matter too much. personally I would recommend H&R Sport and KYB AGX/Koni reds as a combo... its a good match.

otherwise, you can buy the pro-kit at a few places, but do some research and do buy it from Performance Improvements or anything, because they are overpriced.

maybe, other ppl on the boards have suggestions on where to go.

stock shocks can handle sportlines.. and it looks killer. I had them with 16's for a year and a half. a friend had them w/17's and it looked even better... just a little bit o tuck in the rear.. tho his car was slow as a snail

some notes on the sportlines:

- mikepasani is right, they say 1.8" after settling they will be over 2" inches.

- you WILL rub in the front on speed bumps and u-turns. solution: find a shop who will machine the inside of your front wheel well

- you WILL have rear camber, and it'll look ugly. solution: do the washer trick.

- you WILL have to replace your shocks eventually. they will progressively get worse. solution: hmm
