What's up guys...
I'm thinking of taking out my Exhaust and putting in just a tip
i have a 2.5Inch Custome Cat Back right now

1st reason is that you can hear me from like over 3 blocks away
2nd is that cops hate it
3rd reason is that, probebly taking it out will just clean the back of my car up a bit more
4th is that i'll probebly hear more from my engine not that i have a lot done to it

5th and one of the most important reason is that, EVERY FUKEN CAR ON THE road has an exhaust on it, tempos/shadows/intrepids/ and it's just getting stupid now

and i dont' really want to put a silencer on it...

what do you guys think???

go for it....just maybe get something that sounds normal at low-mid rpms and then gets a nice tone louder than stock once u floor it a bit...u can't go wrong with something like that

Magnaflow with a 12-14" resonator. Can't go wrong.

Yeah I got a nice quiet exhaust for my civic, nice big resonator in the middle basically all I hear is engine and it sound sweet with the super short ram intake I made for it. Plus unless im at WOT its dead silent which is important as its an SQ car.

yeah, custom exhausts are great for fine tuning the sound. I have a 4-2-1 header w/2.5" collector, 2.5" high flow cat, 2.5" stainless steel pipe with a resonator and a magnaflow muffler.
Its not super loud, only when at WOT is it by any means loud. I get compliments on how my car sounds all of the time, even from the V8/old muscle car guys. You may spend a little more in the end when all is said and done, but you will get the sound you want.

like i said, i have a 2.5Inch Custome Cat Back with a Resenator on there with a Power1 Muffler....

so basically swap it for a magnaflow muffler? i'm sure there are different sizes

get magnaflow street series, much quieter than their race line, and hey it's guaranteed for life

My buddy has a magnaflow and it's pretty loud, right on the verge of sounding farty. He has a resonator and 2 1/4" cat back piping

I like stock mufflers, atleast on EFs the stock Si muffler is nice and quiet, but still sounds cool when you push it...

I have 2.5" piping, larger resonator and a magnaflow 14" long canister and unless your WOT, it's fairly tame IMO. Anyone that has heard my car recall?
