Tachometer question

I have a 99 civic cx and it doesnt come with a tach.

What are my options if I wanted a tachometer in my car?

if I get another cluster, don't the KMs on my car become complete word of mouth.... as in theres no way of telling how many kms are on the car?

Swapping cluster is not hard, couple screws and unplug the plugs. As I have seen from many DIYs.

Go to the DMV and tell them to roll it back so it's all legit and you have the correct papers to prove it was rolled back by them.

You can swap out that "number" part so in a sense, you still have the same mileage record, just a different "cluster".

IMO I wouldn't do that because when you sell the car the buyer might notice that the cluster has been changed and he will not believe that you switched the odometer.
