wynn's flush is 5 bucks at crappy tire.

4.4 litre of Castrol Syntec is 24.99

oil filter, fram/penzoil is 5 bucks

and then you take it to a garage you know and they should do it for 10 bucks

total 40 bucks

when you use flush, only RUN the engine, don't rev......RUN it idle for 15-20 minutes and you're good to change oil.

does synthetic really that good? someone told me it's good but my other friend said as long as you change your oil frequently, it makes no difference

Im wondering the same too. Ive heard diff stories about it. Some say just stick to conventional, and others say synthetic is better.

No, synthetics are always better than conventional unless you buy like no name synthetic LOL... but if you stick to Castrol Syntec, Mobil One, Amsoil, Redline, Motul, Royal Purple etc. then you will benefit greatly. Of course, that's if you plan to keep your car a while...

no comparison between castrol syntec and motul it's like comparin ractive to mugen...there is a difference...in my 2 stroke bikes you could feel a hp diffeence and throttle response and what not and your motor woudl last longer and your cylinder wouldnt' get scuffed to ****...that's jsut a comparison if you wanna use jsut cheap over the counter then go for mobile or you coudl actually get a real oil like motul or redline I have used motul and it is amazing **** I think mugen uses that in there motors if I can remeber correctly...oh ya and synthetics generally have more detergents in them and wont' build up as much as dinosour oil

Because this is your first oil change you DO NOT need to flush your engine. Believe me. Mobil 1 one or Redline are the best oils to use. Redline is very expensive though. I use Mobil 1 and its mint.

Even with that said, there is no diff between conv. and synthetic I think. I only use synthetic cuz I run over 5000k once in a while, and synthetic doesn't break down till much later.

If you wanna save money use conv.(it's perfectly fine for your car but stick to one brand like castrol) if you have high mileage or drive hard use synthetic. IF you RACE HARD, use the ones dingus and barbulo described(motul, royal purples good, and amsoil).
