Sway Sway Bar Question

I am just carious that if anyone can help me with the following question:
I got ITR front and rear sway bar, and I am planning to put them on my 96 hatchback.

I know the rear is easy, ASR subframe, and sir endlink will do the job, however, I have no idea how to fit front ITR sway bar into my 96 hatch.

From my research. I found that the itr front sway bar will fit in the EX font lower control arm with proper endlink, however, I don't know if my hatch have the same lower control arm as the EX. can someone answer my question.

thanks

EK hatch lower control arms don't have a mounting location for a swaybar. You will find that out when you take it out. So you will have to get an EX lower control arm or a performance aftermarket piece with mounting holes.

yeah some ELs have front sway bars... the difference is obvious, some are cast iron LCAs, the others will be stamped steel with endlink attachment points.

ya I do realized that the difference, I am just wondering that if a type R front sway bar will fit into a EK hatch with EL or EX lower control arm. I have seen one person trying to do it and failed because the bar hits the under body. On the other hand, I have seen website saying that it would work... sigh....
I am wondering if anyone have done that....
thanks

No, all 6th gen Civics come with pre-drilled holes for endlink mounting.

To original poster, I would suggest you get SiR front LCA + front sway bar as a combo, will save you hassle in case ITR won't work.

i don't think the integra ones work on 6th gen fronts... 5th gens I guess it would. we looked at them before side by side they were not the same.

5th gen tegs and 5th gen civics sway bars are interchangable but 6th gens are different because of the subframe. the way the bar goes up and around the exhaust piping is different and won't clear the subframe.
