Sway Bars

Does anyone know if JDM ITR sway bars or CTR sway bars would fit on a '99-00 civic coupe or sedan?

ITR rear sways bar will fit, but I like I said before I'm pretty sure the CTR/SiR are the same. :D

Rob and Freddy, CTR is 22mm, SIR is smaller. i'm still debating what to get for my EL, 22mm seems quite large to me, so i'm thinking 19mm is the way to go. Stock for 1.6EL is 13mm, I think SI is the same so 22mm is 70% stiffer then a 13mm bar.

but yup, it'll work no prob but its recommended to use a subframe reinforcement kit with a 19mm+ RSB such as a beaks kit

Would the ITR front bar fit an EK? What else would you guys recommend for a front bar?

The bars will fit, but you'll need to use Civic endlinks. The ITR endlinks are different. Any sizable swaybar on the rear should also be used with some type of reinforcement kit.

The bigger front swaybar will also increase understeer. The bigger rear swaybay will increase oversteer.

CTR, SiR front sway is 26mm, CTR rear is 22mm. Some JDM ITR comes with 23mm rear sway bar, I forgot what year.

Use SiR endlinks (rear ones).

I installed 22mm rear sway bar first before 26mm front sway bar and the car would over steer at 40km if you do a sharp corner. Having both sway bars will make the car balance better.
