Comptech, Progress, or Integra Type R are all good upgrades, but only the Comptech comes with the subframe reinforcement built in so as to prevent subframe tear-out common with bigger bars.... hence the hefty price tag of the unit. Else you can buy a Beaks mounting kit separately. Good move upgrading the sway bars

BOND007 you vulcher... So, you wanna be more like me and run SiR stuff, huh? LOL That's understandable, after all, my car does handle like a LeMans supercar LOL
The Hook, pricewise, you should be buying from the States... generally, prices in USD will end up costing you about 2 x $USD after conversion, shipping and duty. Prolly looking at for the Comptech about $380USD for the rear alone - no front is avail from Comptech. For the Progress front and rear, you are looking at $400 for both, but still need the subframe reinforcement kit from Beaks. SW20 MR2 - a member on here can prolly source these parts for you locally.

you shouldn't need to upgrade the front bar on your SiR. The stock front sway bar is 26mm. I believe only mugen makes a 28 and 30mm front swaybar. But that is not a necessary upgrade.
I would suggest just spending the money on the comptech rear sway/tie bar combo and thats it. That is all you'll need and it will be a big difference. Also, the comptech is adjustable. There are three settings soft/med/hard. For differnet levels of stiffness that you want. The comptech rear swaybar is 22mm.

SW20 MR2,
Dude, the price that you are quoting, i am not sure what i will be getting as i looked at this site "http://www.tornactive.com/pd_beaks_kit_egdc.cfm" and they are quoting the sway bar and the beaks kit for $199.
Help me out... you are saying that the ITR way bar can be purchased from the dealer... Honda?
Francesco.

This is what you need:
http://www.beaksproducts.com/ek-quickswap.html
The Beaks mounting brackets are $100CDN alone. The ITR sway, bushings, and brackets can be purchased from the Acura dealership.

$199 is USD.
so its more like $320CAD+ shipping/taxes/duties!
Also, I believe that a brand new itr rear swaybar from acura will run you about $260. But you may be able to get one used off the board here for $100-$150.

I heard that ITR sway bar doesn't fit as good as CTR sway bar? I mean, one if for DC chassis and one is for EK? But are they both the same thickness? I have never look at both for comparsion...
And are there drillings required for 96-00 EK (non SIR model)?

They are both 22mm. You need to drill one hole on each side to install the bar.
