sway bar question for my cx...

i'm planning to drop my car soon, but at the same time i might as well as get my front and rear sway bars put in. now i was told i have to replace the front lcas and as well as the back. the back no problem because i'm probably getting omni's and a gsr sway in the back. my question is about the front. i want to run a gsr front sway which is what, 24mm according to the chart in the archives? would i need integra lcas or am i good with a new set of si LCA's? or what would your recommendations be? i'm not going with the 22mm type R sway in the back with beaks kit because i've still read too many horror stories with them. and if i get integra LCA's, will my current polyurethane bushings fit in those control arms because i just got my bushing done like 2 months ago.

The easiest way to put a sway bar in the back is to get the Suspension Techniques 19mm bar. With this you won't need the Integra LCAs as it bolts to the front of the shock with an L-bracket.

As for the front, you will need a different set of LCAs, as they don't have the mounting holes for the sway bar links. Easiest thing to do would be to buy a set of Teg or EG Si front lower LCAs. You poly bushings can be reinstalled in either the Teg or EG Si front lower LCAs no problem.

well im getting omni lcas for sure though. 19mm seems a bit thick and i've been reading about this too. i want absolutely no chance of my subframe ripping off. i'm not looking to make my car handle like it's on rails but something fairly better than stock. as for the front, should i just buy the teg front lower lcas from honda or something? how much would this whole setup run me you think? if not the gsr rear sway what would you recommend i go? i'm going to be lowering my car with h&r springs with illuminas and i wan't to be able to go over rail way crossings and speed bumps with no problems.

seriously... forget the front Bar, hardly need it, I've been competing in Solo2 for a couple of years without bars whatsoever and I do very well. Get the rear one and I think you'll be happy... if not i have a stock (never used) GSR front bar for sale, decided not to use it

what differences have you felt with the front installed though? i don't know if i'm going to be doing autocrossing but i just want to make the car handle better.

I dunno, I never put it in, if I do it counts as one prep point for my series and I'd rather not use it if I don't need it.

I can hook you up with a GSR rear sway bar too if you're interested.
