Swap ques - whats needed?

Okay I will be doing a D15B swap soon so I am writing up what is needed for it to work.

Basically is this the basic stuff needed?

- Motor
- P08 ECU
- EX/Si transmission (I guess any trans from the 92-95 era?)

The engine going out is a messed up D15B7. I could use stuff I need from it if needed.

Right?

THANKS

yeah, if u get another d15b7, u can switch all the parts off the old engine onto the new one provided that they are good condition working parts. I would change the timing belt on the new engien u get and i would also get the si tranny if i were u, i saw one on the board for 75 bux in good shape. The si tranny would be better for acceleration. any questions, just pm me, i have done a few engien swaps in my time.

Wow cool. Transmissions for 75 bucks? I thought they were in the hundreds of dollars. Thinking in the line of 300-500.

You have to get really lucky to find a good condition SI tranny for $75. It's almost not worth the risk buying a cheap tranny like that considering the cost to install it.

On top of that, My93Civic requires an AUTOMATIC transmission, so it would cost way more.

I suggest keeping your DX tranny.
