I'm new here and currently own an 88 DX and the stock engine has 257,000km and I want to replace it with a ZC (sohc or dohc).My question is where can I get this swap done and how much will it cost me? I don't want to try it myself and screw up the car.There is a shop close ny be called Progressive Racing but I don't know how much they charge.Antbody had experience with them?Any help would be highly appreciated.Thanks.

i did my dohc zc swap @ home took like 2 days cause i drank way too much beer its easy man, just do it yourself

well for him it's harder cause he has to get a resistor box adn wire in injectors dpfi to mpfi....call altech, ksrd (www.ksrd.com) progressive etc adn check out the shops and see which one has the best price of which one your most comfortable with...altech is teh affiliate and is trusted...I ahve heard good things from ksrd doing zc's...try adn get a si or zc tranny for better acceleration

esp when paying already for someone to do the work, pay a little extra and make sure they do it right. It's not worth saving a couple hundred $ if they're just gonna hack the crap outta the car. Go to an established, reputable shop!
