i get about 40 mpg in my 90 civic, and it's all stock automatic. so you don't need a swap, you just need to fix your pile

okay...well what damn fuel pump is in there? there are tons of fuel pumps that will work fine in that car...so maybe its the pick-up and not the pump among a slurry of other things that are wrong with the car

I got almost 40mpg this past summer with my almost stock b16a2.

Either something is wrong with your car or you don't know how to calculate your fuel mileage....

Gas price varies, so don't use 10 dollars per km theory.

In general, for a full tank of gas (40 liter), if you can net above 500 to 550km, you are doing alright.

13km per liter is good enough.

First off do you even know what vtec does? If you keep it out of the vtec range then you'll be saving fuel.

You may want to change your oil, air filter, pcv valve, sparkplugs, etc., The basic tune-up stuff.

we can't help you when you don't have a specific question.

if you said... should I change my pump, I'd say pull it out and see if it's the wrong one to begin with.

just saying your mileage sucks is no help. it might suck cuz you drive like a retard. how should I know?
