swap help asap

i'm swapping a 99 Si with a B16a obd1 that i took out off my 92 Si. i am using a conversion harness for the ecu (p30 obd1).i have the motor in the 99 but the tranny and engine mount (by the t-belt) don't fit, now i what mounts do i need to use??

im also going to use a obd2 alternator so i dont have to wire anything, i have ran the knock sensor wire and plug, also wired the odb1 injector plugs too. the only thing i can't figure out is what to do with the crank sensor that is located by the t-belt, the obd1 distributor has 2 more wires then the stock 99 obd2 dizzy.
So i know that the obd1 dizzy has a crank sensor in it, and i thought that the obd2 dizzy didn't, but all the wiring diagrams i've seen have the sensors in both. So is the crank sensor by the t'belt a secondary sensor or will it not be used at all??
So what i want to know is how to wire the dizzy ???

so to recap,
which mounts can i use from my eg? and which do i need to get?
how to wire the dizzy and crack sensor?
is there anything i maybe forgeting?

please help

thanx

don't worry about the crank sensor on the oil pump, leave it unplugged, the obd1 ecu doesn't use that CFK sensor.

All you have to do is either wire the 2 obd1 dizzy plugs onto your engine harness, or wire an obd2 dizzy plug onto the obd1 dizzy.

You'll need the 99-00 SIR timing belt mount.

Use integra mounts all around. We used the stock driver side mount when we put a GSR (same engine) into an EG. Use the integra tranny mounts (94+ integra). These engines litterally bolt in using all 100% honda stuff.

integra mounts will NOT work.

you need si-r rear tranny mount bracket and the upper driver side mount bracket.

you may use integra torque mounts or si-r tq mounts.

ok, its in and running, all i needed was a 99-00 SiR rear tranny mount , stock tranny ,engine and the fron 2 from the B16a
Now it wont start

with the P30 obd1 ecu with the converion harness, the engine gets no spark or fuel, but it i remove them both and use the stock 99 ecu, it runs.
i wired in the obd1 dizzy to the stock engine harness, with a plug off a spare harness i have.
Im i suppose to use a obd2 dizzy with the conversion harness, or not. i don't think it makes any diff, but i f***ing lost

i think a have the wrong conversion harness, cause i pluged the harness into my friends 96 civic with a 99 si motor and a p28 obd1 and it works great

what am i missing ????

it doesn't matter what dizzy you use as long as obviously the harness clip is properly wired up.

You said that your conversion harness and ecu works in a friends car but not in yours? But if you use a friends obd2 ecu your car has spark/fuel?

96-98 is obd2a
99-00 is obd2b

If you used a conversion harness in your friends 96 civic (obd2a) and it worked, then obviously it won't work in your 99 civic b/c its obd2b.
You will be able to plug your obd2b stock engine harness into the conversion harness ok (b/c all obd2 conversion harness' have the plugs for both obd2a and obd2b) but it WILL NOT work since it was designed for an obd2a car.
Understand?
So it sounds to me like you have the wrong conversion harness.
If you have a 99 civic you need an obd2b-obd1 conversion harness....this will not work in your buddys 96 civic which is obd2a.
And you can use any obd2 or obd1 dizzy with an obd1 ecu (provided its a b-series dizzy on a b-series engine).

i know the difference from obd2a and b, i bought the harness for odb2b to obd1, but i guess the guy ripped me off, so i will have to get another harness for rewire the harness.

rewiring the harness would suck ***, just get another one and sell the one you've got.
