suspension swap question

ok heres the thing, since 90% of civic suspension is the same, theoretically, would springs for a 93 si hatch back work in a 2000 SIR?? any help would be appreciated

imported_mugen_r 13-Mar-2006 09:16 PM

yes

thanx for the help mugen_r , i was concerned because they have different part numbers but i figured they would work regardless.... again thank you

they will physically fit (atleast i think they should) but the ride will be real different.

they will fit.
however the gen 5 models have tiny spikes sticking out around the top hat therefore preventing the suspension to go in so all you have to do is grind or cut them off. (this holds true for complete suspensions) however if you are talking about springs alone yes they will fit 100 percent.
however the ride height etc will not be the same as stated.

ie. gen 5 springs would sit way lower on gen 6's
