I recently installed adjustable lowering springs into my 89 civic and the rear suspension is really bouncey and stiff as if the shocks are completely compressed. what are my options.

buy new shocks. I use illuminas and love them. Koni red/yellows are really good too.

yeah, you have to expect a bouncy ride when u lower your car because there is less travel in the shocks... if you are all about the ride, buy some good shock/struts and set them to soft and don't lower your car more than 1.5" and you should have a decent ride still.
