suspension/springs?
 

Ok so recently I have been looking and my civic and I think that the back is a little lower than the front...
The space between my back tire and my back wheel well is smaller than the space between my front wheel and my front wheel well....
Could it be from having people in the back? Im a light guy but sometimes I travel with 3 guys in the back.. who are heavier 200 pounds each or so...
so what I am asking is what are my options to fix this and make my car look even and keep it again?
How much would it cost around?
Im hoping to even lower it abit... what are some options?

It's the way the car is designed... mine does it too.... the back end wheel wells have a bit of a flare to them which makes them look lower but it's really like the same hight... but to check it and make sure just find a level surface and measure the height at both of the hoist mounts

I want to lower the car a bit and add 15/16 inch rims.. how much would a lowering cost about? and how low can it go with 16" rims and 15".. its all stock right now..

I just picked some used ones up for about $100 and installed them myself.... easy enough if you have access to a spring compressor. Otherwise for new ones you're looking at a few hundred dollars not including install or a camber kit (which you need otherwise you'll have mad tire wear) and new shocks to handle the drop. but be carefull... too low and you'll rip off you're oil pan and exhaust going over bumps and no one will want to service your car on a hoist.

Right now i have no more than a 2" drop with stock shocks and 15" steeles and big ass allseasons (p195/60R15) and it sits at a nice height for me for the time being. But otherwise make sure you know what you're getting into before you do it too... check the laws too... you don't want to have your plates pulled cus it's too low.

how did you get it lowered on stock springs?
I wanted to lower my car about 2 inches at most like yourself.. and then add 15" rims... so I should not be a problem. I could pick them up for 100 and then get a shop to install them to.. just wondering..

i'm getting ground controls and illuminas to drop my car sometime this month but im going to save up some more money for some omni LCAs and front/rear sway bars. if you're going to get it done at a shop. might as well as get it all done and save the labour. but if all you want is a cheap drop then just take your stock springs and hack away :thumbup: haha j/k. i've ridden in cut stock springs the ride is absolute ****. do it the proper way man, you'll get way more out of it.

look in the group buy section... grab the koni suspension kit...
get a camber kit later if u want... the ingalls ones...
grab 15" rims put on 205/40-45/15 (depends on much u drop)
will look good... the koni kit is not that expensive... for 600 something, its a good thing to go... or get omnipower kits... 900 i think... they ain't so bad too

sorry man.... i did say i lowered on stock springs.... you could do that by cutting the springs but thats no good for a comfortable ride. Besides you're best to keep the old ones around at stock ride height for winter time so you don't screw anything up. What i ment to say was stock shocks. I have my lowering springs on stock shocks which are not designed to handle the drop and they won't last me as long as they could.

what if I bought this? couldnt that work if a mechanic lowered it? Team ruckus said he could lower it with these.
