suspension precaution

i am going to put progress springs on my ek sedan, it is a 2 inch drop all around, im worried that my tires might rub, i have 17x7 wheels with a 205 tire, i dont beleive it should be a problem but i wanted to get some feedback cause im not a 100% on this, thanks

offset??

I had 42, it was okay... also make of tire can make a difference.

40 would be even better, but you'll have to remove the top outside clip from the fenderliner to gain an extra 2 mm of clearance

yeah, it's that tight, every mm counts

not really, it's the shape of the tire that has a lot to do with it too. 17x7 rim by itself fits... but add a tire and it gets pretty tight.

17 is the diameter of the rim and 7 is the width of the rim

Don't mean to jack your thread, but I'm likely going to have to do this myself... doing the washer camber trick tonight, but my 205/40/17's are gonna be tight. How easy is it to remove the liner? What exactly am I removing... couldn't find any links.
Help pls.

the front has inner plastic fender liners held in by plastic clips. the rear, remove the black rubber rust strip to gain an extra mm of clearance. my 15 inch 205 azenis are so fat they barely had enough room in the back to fit. that was a tight squeeze, but I ran through the whole flex from droop to compression and didn't have a problem. it was just very close

with a two inch drop, your 17's will likely rub during cornering.
You'll also end up wearing the inside edge of your tire out i a season. The other thing is, you'll hydroplane like mad.
Moral..........................get a camber kit, it's worth it.
