Question shocks for my coupe???? advice plz

im not sure wat to get
i was thinking to get kyb's for my civic for $400 brand new from my mechanic but im not sure if there ne good cause im new to shocks as wells as many other things.

i got the eibach pro kit springs

i want a stiff ride so i can a hug a curve without tilting too much to one side but not rock hard and within my price range.
i rather buy new not used.
my budget would be up to $500

wat you think i would be happy with??

thxs

There isn't much out there for that price. Try calling some of the affiliates and see what they recommend.

pm astroboy he get's good deals on shocks....was the kyb the gr2 or the agx..the gr2 is to low level of a shock it's liek what you woudl put on stock springs to get a more responsive ride

for what you want the kyb agx or tokico illumina or maybe tokico blue if your on a budget will suit you fine

if you want to hug corners start getting into strut bars that will reduce body roll aswell

shop around, and look at specs... u can buy generic ones but the structural integrety might not be as good as some brand names...

the eibach pro kit is a good spring. I'd suggest going with the Koni yellows. Lifetime warantee and adjustable stiffness. Could probably pick up a set from one of our vendors for a decent price. Try giving SiR_YO a pm or lordm a pm. I'm sure either of them could help you.
