suspension making knocking sounds

my suspension is pissing me off or at least that is what i think it is...whenever i accelerate from a stand still slowly, the passenger side front suspension or something around that area makes a knocking sound...also when i turn at slow speeds, i can hear the sound again...i was wondering if its my ball joints or a blown suspension or what not...this is on a 99 stock gs-r...its is not the power steering workin...it sounds like metal slipping off each other but making a knocking sound

that WONT fix the problem... you have to buy a new ball joint or whichever part is actually busted

it could snap at any time, get it fixed asap unless you like wheels falling off and flipping all over the road

I can't believe your asking that .....

here's an example .... I found that my front driver side was making noise ,....(ball joints) took it in and replaced everything ... then looked at the tie rod end that had been on the car ... snapped it with my hands.... no tools needed ....

now ask yourself this... I did that right when I first heard the noise... how long do you really want to leave it?

Basic maintenance.... get it fixed end of story finished nothing else needs to be asked that is your answer period. wish I had locking abilities.....

it comes down to this... if you replace parts as you discover they need replacing, you drop a couple hundred each time. if you wait and wait and wait, then all of a sudden you have like a grand worth of repairs to make! that's not cool. not to mention if you wait and wait you risk something braking and sending your car outta control causing harm to you and others AND/OR that one broken part may slowly affect other systems throughout the car, only causing more and more damage $$$

IE. VW Golf has an issue with coolant leaking from the overflow bottle. There is a sensor there.... the coolant leak eventually starts pushing itself into the wiring, eventually taking out numerous electrical systems, including the ECU. So instead of a $56 coolant overflow tank, you're looking at about a $12,000USD repair. (no ****, I've seen a guy's bill for this repair - luckily he was under warrantly still!)

he's just saying, if something is wrong, you fix it. you don't have to be a mechanic to figure that out.

think this way, if you had a broken leg, would you still go play tennis or soccer or whatever? no!

I am taking it easy ..... but your first question was enough ... "hey guys something is wrong can you help?" the most likely cause was given to you and were told to get it fixed asap.

now after that I see asking more questions instead of just going to get it fixed like drowning and refusing help because hey eventually you might swim.....

seriously I've seen the damage broken ball joints can do .... wrecked fenders and busted suspension parts torn axles... amputated legs....(yes if your going fast enough, even well below highway speeds you can have a ball joint break off and cause the wheel to come around and take out your legs....

ok maybe I am cruel and mean and not taking it easy .... but seriously I do know some stuff ...a nd I am just guessing here but you don't wanna lose your legs... and I don't wanna see a post like this:

"hey guys I haven't been on the board in months now because I was in the hospital because a 100 dollar ball joint broke off and took out my legs..... ohhhwell I have a wheel chair to bling out now"

I'm cruel and mean and an ******* because I care. fix it before it costs you more. thats all I'm saying
