suspension kits

hey guys im goin to put in soem new suspension on my civic sedan and was wonderng wat kind i should go for that will be good for both street and track(not drag racing) and give a smooth ride..thnx

ok but which wil be the best set up coil overs or damnpmners...cuz pl at certain stores showed me coil overs and some koni full suspension kits ...so can any one tell me the difference between them

full kits come with both springs and shocks as one... the shock and spring would be well matched... but the only down side is price of these kits

to sum it up the difference between full kits, coilovers and dampners..i really dunt have any clue on suspensions

well do you know how to properly set up a coilover setup? if so give details... if not stick to springs and shocks.... they are better for you

yeah sure

ok sping and shock setup combines a set of springs with a set of shocks... can be from the same manufacturer but not ussually

coilovers set 1: in this case it's a sleeve that fits over the shock and is threaded so that a spring perch can move up and down... it replaces the spring part of the above combination

coilovers setup 2: this is a "proper" coilover system where by the shock body has the threads for the adjustable spring perch the springs and shocks come as a full set up and are tested in that combination
