Suspension Help

I need to drop my civic hatch a little 1.5inch or so. What's the cheapest and best way. I'm thinking of

Koni Red shocks
H&R Sport springs

Is this a good setup for a 1998 hatch? And how much would these cost. Thanks

Ok, in your post you said the cheapest and best way, pick one...

Seriously, I think your idea is very good, you could pick up a $100 set of coilovers and be done with it but I wouldn't. A good shock like the Red and a set of H&R sports will make you happy, and it wouldn't be very competitive but you could do some pretty spirited driving (including auto-x) and be fine...

That's the combo I have and I'm happy with it. I do wish they were easier to adjust sometimes, but that's my only complaint.

Koni Reds are around $400-$500 contact Astroboy for those. The H&R Sports are around $250. I got mine from Speedtech who is an affiliate of TCC.

Yup, check the Affiliates at the top of the page. If you email them, they will reply within a day or two.

Cut your springs.

It costs nothing!
