Suspension Help

I just bought a set of Tokico HP shocks + Tokico springs and i was told i need to change upper and lower control arms.... I thought it was a direct bolt on. Can someone shed some light on what other parts would have to be changed for installation. If it matters ill be using 17" rims with 40 series tires.

depends

how are your bushings now... if there sezied you will need new bushings....

on an EG all the bushings can be replaced on the LCA

if you have an EK only some can be replaced on the LCA

the rest you will need to buy a new LCA

try it first and see if your lucky

If he meant you need new ones because the ones you have now are in real bad shape (ball joints gone, etc) then sure. If he said you need new ones cuz they don't fit he either doesn't know wtf he's talking about, or whoever sold you the **** ordered the wrong part #
