suspension from a 96 civic on a eg?

I have an EG, and was wondering if a suspension kit from a 96 would fit my car!?
If anybody has a suspension set-up for my car that would give it a 1.5 to 2 inch drop please let me know! thanks

Front shocks will fit with no issue. The "fork" on the rear shock is wider on EK so it would fit over EG stock rear LCA no problem (you need to shim it) but you can't do so vice versa, for obvious reason.

I also believe the rear LCA on both EK and EG have different length, though trailing arms are all the same (88-00 Civic, 94-01 Teg).

charles, u are mixed up my friend the EK rear LCA is thinner then the EG LCA so in fact, what u need to do is slightly pry the fork over the EG LCA to make it fit. i did this on my old hatchback with no problems
