Suspension

I'm looking for a suspension that i plan on buying in a couple weeks for my EF... i'm having dillema's on what to buy. I kind of have my mind set on H & R sports 1.7" drop as for the shocks i cannot decide. for price range lets say around 600$ and i believe Koni yellows ( i want) are out of that league. I am open to suggestions but i was looking at :
Bilstein Self-Adjusting Mono Tube Gas Shocks
KYB AGX High Performance Shocks
Koni Red Adjustable Shocks
Tokico Illumina Adjustable Strut Kits
Tokico HP Premium Performance Strut Kits

i don't know anything else in that price range. Should i even go with those springs? ($160 US shipped to my doorstep)

and what do i do about camber? and how does it work exactly?

Thanks
Dan

h&r springs are good, u should be happy with them. might want to consider nuespeed aswell.

are you looking for adjustable shocks.
i would go with kyb agx or tokico illumina's

i wouldn't go with koni reds cause they use the stock shocks housing, pain in the *** to install if your doing it yourself

Neuspeed has higher spring rates last I checked. That's why I went with them over H&R on my old car.

For shocks both AGXs and Illuminas are good. Also look into Blistiens.

With a 1.7-1.8" drop you shouldn't have to worry about camber.

well if exterior mods will have to be sacraficed, then YES get koni yellows! don't do exterior mods!

you should be happy with illuminas since i have not heard anything bad about them yet.

is it worth an extra 300 ( give or take) for the konis rather than illuminas?

Yellows are worth the extra cash. I know I'll drop the coin on them.

If you go below 1.8" of drop you need a camber kit. Though I didn't have a camber kit on my old car. Dropped on Neuspeed Races and the camber wasn't too bad imo. In fact it was perfact. It's toe in/out that will really eat up your tires.

Blistiens are very good shocks too. I've got a friend who rides on them and loves em.

PM Astroboy, he's always got a killer deal on stuff. His koni yellow's are around $800 tax in.
Otherwise, consider the red koni's non-adjustable. Koni's the consumer best for a reason
