Superchips

anyone ever heard of the Superchips ECU "tuner"? ... i think they only make it fot trucks and stuff. supposedly you just plug it in to a port under the dash and press a few buttons and you can get up to 100 hp and 200 lb/ft torque! my dad wants one for his silverado....

well i was wondering if there are anything like this for hondas? a simple plug and play, non-hardcore programming software..

there's nothing like that for a honda.. these "superchips" are for desiel trucks ... simply because all they do is up the boost and increase the fuel... which on desiels give lots of extra power

..they have kit's "bullydog" beign the leader for diesel perfomrance...up the boost yada yada...then you can get hard pipies bigger dp and exhaust's...yada yada...even on a silverado they have been known to add a good 10 whp and such..on hp TV they have used it many times on their trucks...worth a try...but put it on the dyno to make sure...but them you will ahve to use premium fuel and have ****ty gas milage so.....

Most 'chips' won't give you much of a noticable gain on a Honda from my exp.

Even on a built motor a chip isn't going to do much imo. Chips are pretty much universal.

However dyno tuning can have very good results as it's tailored to the engine/car set up.
