alot of opinions but if you have the money go for well known names like neuspeed or skunk2 because they make good quality stuff. I've heard stories about people getting cheap ebay brands that have snapped, etc.

In terms of value, you can't go wrong with Neuspeed.

Cusco, Tanabe, Mugen, J's Racing, Benen, Comptech, etc... plan to pay about $200 minimum for each brace for a decent one.

Cusco, Alex (made by Cusco to Alex's spec), Spoon would be my choices.

DC are flimsy show bars...Ractive bars outshine them by a mile

I have used Neuspeed front strut bars ... they're great !
I had to get rid of it because it was getting in the way of some things under the hood. However I still have a Neuspeed rear lower tie bar (these dont' really do much I just like the way it looks).

I'm am now using APR for the front and its great !

As for DC they're crap, for such an expensive bar you'd figure that the company would know not to put those cosmetic holes in them because it compromises its ridgidity.

Keep in mind this is just my opinion and does not represent the ideas or opinions of TCC, any of the members, mods, admins, web host and affiliates in any way.

those holes in the DC bars signifigantly reduce its rigidity...in a good bar you want a solid piece that is hollow core (for wieght savings) and shaped in either a box/cylinder shape as these shapes have the strogest properties against later forces (its like standing on a empty pop can, its shape (cylinder) gives it its strength...which is why DC bars while they look nice they are weak and the generic/ractive bars out perform them...if u want a pretty bar get a DC if you want one that is functional get a solid one like type-r nuespeed etc.

not too bad, but I do wanna hear this explanation about how these holes are beneficial, cuz everything I have ever read is against the holes and the tests showed that the solid bars out performed the holy ones

Personally I'm going with OEM stuff. SiR swaybars, and ITR strut bars. Not as much bling, but cheaper, and they are made for our cars so everything bolts right on.
