I am trying to take off my front strut bar but the bolt is stripe...
how can i take it off?

is it the nut or the bolt??
if it's the nut, is it the outer part (socket side) of the nut or the inner (thread)??

if it's the socket side of the nut, make sure the threads look free, so if it does get turning it'll keep on turning and find a socket a bit smaller than what's normally required (i believe it's a 13mm, so try a 12mm) and hammer it onto the nut..try and remove, but if ya feel it starting to slip again stop and try a smaller one yet...
if that's a no-go, hit it with a dremel sized grinder and cut the nut..

a nut splitter would also work..


if it's yer bolt?? well yer in for some real fun..i'll go there only if i have to

Si Veloz: yea I have tried using bigger and smaller but just don't seem to get it hold and also... I 've 7 th gen and i have the neuspeed strut .... and i am trying to take off...

are you talking about the strut mount nut? the 2 or 3 nuts that hold the struts in?

the nut the mount the strut bar.... dat kit seems it will work..
how much will that kit cost?

won't work..
the neuspeed upper strut has ummmm..pockets??...that the nuts fit down into..

i'd be trying a 6-point 12mm impact pal..
it should work.......

come to think of it it's a 14 normally i believe, so 13 would be the next size down..or even 1/2", it'd be a bit tighter yet

yep it is 14mm.... thats a really ****ty place for a stripped nut expesially with that kinda strut bar

yes 14 is the size and 13 is too small.... i am thinking to go to a shop today and tried to take it off...
