STI TMIC (top mount intercooler)

STI intercooler has one large inlet, and 2 smaller inlets on the other side. Is the single inlet the entering point, and then 2 smaller inlets for exiting?

If you talking about the hood vents, i belive thats a hood design.
The large inled in the middle of the hood is for the TMIC.
Super sexy design.

no, the air just flows over the engine and down under the floorboards... I'm 51 percent sure those vents are purely aesthetic.
