Question steering wheel removal 4th gen

Anybody know how to take the wheel off without ruining it? I took one off, destroying it in the process...

19mm socket..

torque wrench..

extension..

Pop out the H symbol in the middle..

Insert wrench push/pull counter clock wise..

When reinstalling torque 36/40 foot pounds clock wise..

Make sure the white signal cancel/return tabs line up to the hub and work correct..

And you should use a steering wheel puller that you can rent from CT.

Some cars are thougher than others... I never had to use one neither, but he said he destroyed one wheel already, so I thought I'd let him know there is a tool that could help him.

The wheel i destroyed did not have a removeable H like it is supposed to. Although after i posted the thread i thought that the wheel in the beater is different and maybe i can remove the H with that one.
Matt i have not boight an aftermarket wheel yet, but will before spring!
