starter problem???

My car recently is a pain in the butt to start up. When i step on
the clutch and crank it, it doesn't start. After a few tries it then works again. The thing is, when i crank it, there are no clicking noise or any noise whatsoever. The radio just turns on but nothing starts up... is this a starter problem or maybe the clutch which causes my car not to start. I just change my clutch a year ago so can't see y this would be the problem..
Need some advice... thanks...

possibly a dead spot in the starter.

after you've tried a few times and you finally get it started, does it turn right over or take a momoent or two of cranking?

seems like the starter to me.

however, do you have a lot of accessories, stereo equipment, etc. that are powered up? if that's the case, it could very well be the battery.

i just had this problem.
u have flat spots on ur starter so sometimes it will start fine...but when its trying to start on a certain spoton ur starter it won't....and it will only get worse untill u won't be able to start at all..so get it replaced or at least cheakc to make sure that is the problem...depending on what motor u have starts are cheap so dun worry
