start up problem

everytime i try to start my car in morning, i need to step on the gas to start the car. if i don't... the engine will start and shuts off after 1 second.
but if the engine is warm... it will start no problem

my battery is fine by the way

do you have to hold the gas until the car warms up or just when starting it?

You can try cleaning your IACV ... its right behind the throttle body and is held on by two bolts. once you take it off you can clean the screen with some throttle body cleaner.
