Well this tranny noise is driving me nuts so i decided that i will change the clutch and hopefully that will solve it. I believe it is the clutch anyway...Does anyone know where to get a stage 1 clutch from and how much it would be to install? I'm looking to possibly do it in the next week or two.. BTW its a 4th gen tranny with a 5th gen engine(i guess that means i need a 4th gen clutch correct?).. Anyone have a stage 1 clutch? how are they? I figured it would be better then a reg OEM clutch and only cost a little more...thanks

I think you should find out first exactly what the noise is before you change your clutch. What did KSR say? If it is the clutch then you have to decide what brand and go from there.

KSR is not sure....i was thinking of a clutchmasters stage 1..i'm sure it has to be the clutch b/c it was a used clutch that was put on from the swap..my tranny had no problems before the clutch was put on....

Hmmm.. thats odd. How bad is it? I've hear some bad stories about clutchmasters. Try Exeddy (i think that's how you spell it)

I've heard 200 US.. Not sure though. If you go back a few posts I know agent orange had to replace his clutch and some posted the price of them. I'll find the post.

I agree, go with Exedy. Heard lots of good things about them...better than ACT or Clutchmasters.

Hold on.. KSR is not sure.. cause.. KSR never saw it.. So... It makes it kind of hard to diagnose a problem without seeing the problem.
