SRS light question
 

i dont know why when everytime after gas station car wash or heavy rain, my SRS light come on after a day or few hrs

anyone know what's wrong with it??

i reseted couple of times it go off, but i dont want to do that everytime

it's 96 civic ex

find out what code it's throwing that might help you more... if you search on here or on google you can find the procedure...

all it takes is a paperclip and a few minutes

i dont have the SRS reader, i use the paperclip method to reset the SRS light, works all the time

never read an SRS code by jumping a connector.. but I'm sure you are able to do it. Do a search on honda-tech on how to retrieve the code.

First thing is first though, pull the code then diagnosis the problem. (btw be VERY careful when diagnosising SRS systems) if you dont know why this is, then you shouldnt be fiddling around with them

i guess i'll have to go back to dealer to check it out
