Who cares about noise....

Did you feel any gains with SRI? If you did, then be happy and if not...you're SOL.

well when it was time clean my filter....

what did I do instead?

look around for a 94-01 integra OEM air box, in my case a 96 LS Air box,

figured out some way to make it fit (meanin chopin a small piece of the short ram)

and the end result was a not so loud intake and something of a DIY COmptech ice box

man I wish my filter was quieter... I got enough noise in my engine bay. if its nut hissing when it sucks up air its probably dirty.

the hissing noise you hear is usually associated with a generic CAI on a Z6 motor.

if you want a loud filter, get your hands on the Blitz metal mesh filter. i think it's over 150bux for the filter, but it's the loudest thing i've ever heard....

im pretty sure the SRI isnt gonna give u a noticable boost in HP. 90% of the times if you think your cars faster its just that. Your THINKING your car is faster.

Jus like when i put my front upper strut bar on my bone stock civic i thought it was a handling machine. Basically the whole point of a filter is noise, just like with an exhaust.

Get a K&N filter ive heard that on an SRI and it sounds nice.
