Squeaking Noise Can't Figure it Out
***Update***
HI Guys I have read a lot of the posts about odd squeaking noises and I haven't been able to pin point it.
1999 Sedan
Tokico Whites
Pro Kit Lower Springs
I hear this dry squeaking noise when I hit small bumps, and it turns into a constant squeaking (sounds like noisy squeaky brakes) when taking long right corners like on an onramp. It only happens taking rights and not lefts. To me it sounds like its coming from the rear, but now I can't really tell. It was moer frequent when I had a passenger yesterday. I had taken it to Scott Newman but I couldn't get the sound to replicate. He didn't seem to think it was the rear bushings either. Any Suggestions?
**EDIT** After some more time spent trying to figure this out I think I have narrowed it down. Its definetly coming from the right side when taking long right corners. It sounds like its coming from the front. Any ideas?

yeah I'll have another look at the trailing arm bushings again. Those are just the big round ones on the trailing arm correct? I know they are a bit worn.. but there is still some meat on the rubber.

i hvae the exact same issue with my 99 sedan. the squeak from the right...turning right and not left. as said earlier..it is most likely the bushing in your LCA....they are known to go bad.
you cant tell by just visually inspecting them if they are good or bad though.

I did a test on the rear LCA. My driver side one squeaks under load when I jacked up the car and compressed the TRailing arm upwards, but that's not where my sound is coming from. The right trailing arm bushing isn't squeaking at all so I am reluctant to think its the bushing now.

so u replaced the rotor? and the sound went away i have the exact same sound
do u go to the meets? im wondering if u heard the same sound that im hearing now ?
it sounds like its coming from the rear right

Yup I go to meets sometimes but I might not be at this weeks since it might rain.. I haven't actually replaced the rotors yet, I am sure the mechanic is correct though. If you want to test it out, when you hear the squeaking when your taking the corners try pressing down on your brakes and see if the squeaking goes away.

Other then the Rear trailing arm bushings I can't see what else it could be. Or your rear coils\springs might be making contact with one another. (As in the coil is rubbing up against itself when its compressed)
