sqeek sqeek back breaks
hey got a couple problems wondering if anyone can let me know how to go about tackling them.
1st. when i first start my car after its been sitting for a bit and start to drive, it feels like the ebreak on the rear passenger isn't realeasing all the way and doesnt' realease after driving a good 10 meters.
2. when breaking im getting a fairly loud sqeeking from the same area.. rear passenger side.
could the two problems be related?
if anyone could help me out that would be great!
thanks tcc!

nope front breaks were just done
and shoes were fine so didn't bother replacing
i only click my ebreak up like 4licks max when i park
in the winter it was really bad though...
like it was freezing?
my tire was compleltey locked on a couple occasions and it wouldnt move at all while i was driving

newayz... before buying anything service your brakes and lube up the slider pin and the ebrake cable and see if it sloves your problem first before spend $$$

if he doesn't even know where/how to lube the slider pin and ebrake cable... he shouldn't even be touching the brakes....
it's the BRAKES you're talking about....
I think most ppl will agree with me... that if u don't know what you're doing .... u're better off going to someone who knows
better save then sorry if u know what I mean

It's possible that its not your cables.. I would get it checked out by a guy who knows what he's doing. I'm not sure what it is on a Honda since I've never done it on one.. but where your parking brake meets your rear drum system there is a little pin that is suppose to move when you apply and un-apply the brake... anyways.. it could be that it is stuck and just needs to be freed up. It's a common problem with Fords.. not too sure about honda's.
