bought a CAI made by SPWUSA and it came without instructions.

how to remove stock intake assembly?
pretty stragiht forward, removed the pipe and filter but cant remove the piece under it. gots a 98 dx

u gotta take the bumper off

take your front bumper off and then you will see what you have to do, don't worry the bumper is very easy to take off, two screws in each wheel well and 7 clips where the hood latch is and its off, then just remove a couple more screws to get the resonator out

i have no problem removing the bumper.
just the black filter box north of the motor.

the filter box is easy to come off just remove all the screws that you see, and once you get that off you will see the resonator and that needs to be removed also, by taking the bumper off
