Springs for 4th gen hatch

I was wondering if 5th gen Civic springs could fit on a 4th gen's suspension? I got an offer to have some Eibach Sportline springs that were used in a 5th gen hatch, but i was wondering if I could use them on my 4th gen without having any suspension problems? Or generally speaking, are 4th gen suspension systems similar to the 5th gen, or totally different? Would I be able to use 5th gen suspension parts, or should I just be looking for parts that are specifically made for 4th gen Civics?

See if they share the same part number on the Eibach site...

Thats a good place to start...

I'm thinking no but I could be wrong...

Thanks, I'll check out the eibach site...

So I guess thinking about using other suspension parts from other civic gens really depends on if the part number's the same for my Civic as well then, otherwise it won't fit properly?

Depends on what parts your talking about....

Suspension components, engine components, interior components...

Some generations models share common parts that were never packaged together for North Americain vehicles...
