springs..
I just received my Neuspeed Sport Springs for my 95 Civic SI.. what I was wondering was..how do I know which way is the right way? Can I just go by the lettering? (if the lettering is up-side down, turn it over and install? )
are the springs in the pic the right way? Thanks!

I've got Neuspeed Race Springs need some Konis though.
The lettering is the right way up not upside down. Also make sure you put the front springs in the front and not in the rear.....my buddy did that...looked so funny

The springs will only fit in one way. The taller springs go in the front of course, and the larger diamiter coil goes on the spring retainer, the smaller diameter coil goes on the shock itself. On the shock, the retainer is uneven and the spring should fit exactly into the pocket. On the top retainer, the part that bolts to the body of the car is flat once you take them apart its almost a no brainer. If you need a spring compressor, I have one if you need to borrow it. Just let me know

You should clean them up, but it won't matter either way. You'll just sleep better knowing your springs are clea
The long ones are for the back (they are also thinner coils too). The FLAT part of the spring sits under the top hat, and the other part sits inside the little dip in the lower spring seat. I think you'll know what I'm talkin about when you start to do it. Also don't forget to mark how the whole thing lines up, so that the top bolts will go through the two holes, while the bottom fork of the shock still fits (for the back), and the bottom of the front shock has the bolt dent line up with the wishbone shaped thing. This will also make sense when you start to do it. Just be sure to get some whiteout and mark the top hat and the shock body so they line up. It will make your life easier. With no power tools, and just me working on it, it took me 6 hours to do all 4. Compressing the springs takes the longest, otherwise, I can swap one strut assembly in 20 minutes flat, start to finish.
