Springs

Ok. Got myself another Civic Sir after my last one was stolen. Probably be my last one if it gets stolen again.
Anyways.

I need springs. Had before Eibach sportlines. They were good, never had a problem with them but had a big problem with my body kit. I have the Buddy Club Front bumper and it was way to close to the ground. I am gona put the bumper again in the summer but first i wanna lower my car. Looking for springs that drop Roughly 1.5 inches. Sportlines said 1.8inches but it was over that when it was on my car. I think they dropped over 2 inches.

Other Option is to go with Coilovers and adjust them to what height I want. Money doesnt come by easy so if I can get springs this round and then maybe later down the road grab coilovers.

What i really want to know, Is what springs should I get that drop Roughly 1.5 inches to a max of say 1.8 inches.

Try the H&R OE Sport Spring #51865-55. Lowers the car 0.75". So figure about 1" and a bit after they settle. Or the H&R Sport Springs #51865-2 for a 1.75" front, and 1.5" back. Not too low, but still look and ride good. Thats what I have.

do your self a favour and don't put the buddy cubb bumper on so you dont' always have to worry about scraping and going 2 km/h over speed bumps. Not to mention they are played out big time and will look even worse without the sides and rear to boot. you could get eibach pro kit and get some agx's koni reds or yellows. Your sir will look nice with the pro kit and no body kit

Get the SiR-specific H&R Sport springs. The other companies don't make springs specifically for the SiR to compensate for the DOHC motor, so they will drop the front more.
