spring/shock combos
Origionally i was looking into coilovers for my 02 si then after a lil research i want the affordability yet quality of a spring with a decent shock. Im looking for a 2 inch drop (give or take) and so far neuspeed race springs and ebiach prokit are looking ok. I would like to know from you guys what set ups (spring/shock) have worked for you or what you recommend.
Also im inclined to camber the rear with the ingals kit. and ive heard front camber kits are not rlly necessary, is this true?
Amnything else im missing for a good quality set up with a decent price tag??

for a 2 inch drop you would probably need the camber kit, its a good idea anyways. I am running H&R sport springs with KYB AGX shocks. Its not the type of setup you can enjoy on a track, but its excellent for street use. Gives a good balance between handling and comfort.

I have an 04 si. I'm dropped on neuspeed sports, and tokico D-specs. Many people don't choose the D-specs, I don't know why. I think the handle great, and the adjust damper is great. Its not a track suspension setup, but its stiff enough for street.
btw, neuspeed race, and the eibach pro kit give you 2 totally different drops. Neuspeed race is over 2 inches, and eibach pro kit is only 1 inch. I wouldn't even bother with the eibach pro kit. I've seen it done many times, and its a waste of money and time, because you hardly even notice a drop.
As for camber kits. I have an SPC rear camber kit. I don't have one in the front. Tire wear is perfect on the front, no issues at all. As long as you get a good alignment for the front you should be fine.
Ride quality is great with my D-specs. I find it smoother than stock when the roads are good. When I hit bumps on the road, its worst, because I have the damper set to about 85% firm. I could use the softer settings, but I don't like the feeling of that. The handling is just great with this setup.
I've heard good things about the Koni Yellow's as well, but I don't have any experience with them.
