Sup Everyone,

Just a quick question...i think its pretty much time to change the timing belt on my engine and im wondering how critical it is to change the water pump aswell. Ive heard all the stories that while you are there you should change the pump at the same time...How critical is this???

im doing the same thing...my car has 107,000 km and im changing the water pump and timing belt along with a bunch of other things...like a major *** tune-up, im looking at just underneath a grand:cry:

Inspect your water pump...if you are doing it youself, you can do the water pump anytime thereafter. If you are paying for labour, then get them done at the same time. Clean out the water pump if you are doing it yourself, get all the crap out of there (you can boil it in a pot of vinegar), and it will be good to go again. Only use Honda coolant, not any other like Prestone and isht.

how much does changing ur timing belt and water pump run? and i need to change the trnny fluid and fuel filter and get a valve adjustment anyone know some good places to do this
